When Covid-19 hit the United States, the state of Florida was thrown into problem-solving mode. Each community whose economy heavily relied on travel was asking, “How do we encourage guests to visit the beach while keeping their health and safety the top priority?” It impacted not only how we handle each individual stay with cleaning, communication, and awareness, but also challenged our cancellation policy. Having a relaxed cancellation policy was not as important before Covid-19 as it is now. In today’s society, we want to give guests the comfort of booking a getaway but allow them to cancel if they need due to an illness. This relaxed cancellation policy helps provide our guests peace of mind and assists in keeping our communities open.
When a guest books their getaway, they provide a low deposit at the time of booking. We then walk-through payment dates and offer travel insurance. Our automatic payment system makes it easy to never miss a payment.
Our relaxed cancellation policy allows guests to cancel their stay at any time and receive a refund on the payments made. How much you will receive in your refund depends on how far out you cancel your stay from the date you were scheduled to arrive. We have included our options for cancellation below:
30 Days or More Before Check-in: If we are notified of your intent to cancel 30 days or more before your check-in date, you will receive a refund minus our service fee, travel insurance, and taxes.
15-29 Days Before Check-in: If we are notified of your intent to cancel 15-29 days before your check-in date, you will receive a refund minus the service fee, travel insurance, taxes, and 50% of the total reservation rent.
14 Days or Less Before Check-in: If we are notified of your intent to cancel 14 days or less before your check-in date, only the prepaid cleaning fee will be refunded.
