Managed by CSA Travel Protection (now known as Generali Global Assistance), travel insurance provides guests peace of mind when booking their vacation. Just like you would purchase insurance for a flight or for your automobile, travel insurance is one of those things you hope you never need, but you’re glad to have it when you do. A beach vacation is a financial investment for many, and having the travel insurance for that vacation provides coverage when unexpected circumstances cause disruptions in your plans.
One aspect of CSA’s travel insurance that we love is that it offers coverage and support before, during, and after your vacation. As soon as you purchase the travel insurance, you are covered. This is especially helpful for our guests who have been directly affected by COVID-19 or have members of their party become affected, and find their travel plans interrupted by the global pandemic. You’re covered even as you travel back home too. In addition, CSA’s renowned 24-Hour Emergency Assistance Service provides worldwide help no matter what the need may be.
Some of the events covered by CSA can include cancellation due to sickness, serious injury, layoff, mandatory evacuation during hurricanes, and termination of previously granted military leave. We encourage our guests to thoroughly read through the terms of their coverage, especially during COVID-19 as reasons related to the pandemic may not be covered.
Guests can purchase CSA travel insurance at the time of booking, both online or with one of our Guest Ambassadors. Guests have 10 days to opt-out of the travel insurance and must sign the Refusal of Travel Insurance form in order to fully opt-out.
