How Long Does it Take to Get a New Property Up and Running? ~ Southern Vacation Rentals
As a new owner, when you join our vacation rental management program, we work quickly to ensure everything is up and running as soon as possible. The sooner your property is available for bookings, the better! We love to get those reservations on the books and net you more. We’re designed to be flexible, fast, and thorough in meeting our owners’ and guests’ needs. Learn just how long it takes to get a new property up and running on our program!
As soon as you’ve made your choice on a management company, it’s better to get started on the onboarding process. Once the paperwork is done, we can get things in motion! The paperwork includes a Rental Management Agreement (RMA), W-9 form, and an ACH form with a voided check. All of these items must be submitted before we can put your property on our program.
Once you’re in our system, we set the property up for guest use. Setting up smart home technology, outfitting beds with Southern linens, towels, and deep cleaning are a few of the ways we ready your home. We also work with the marketing department to ensure the property listing is up to date and accurately reflects the property. In addition, your portfolio manager schedules pictures with our professional photographer as soon as everything is ready to go. Our photographers only shoot on sunny days in the morning or when the lighting is optimal to showcase your property in the best light. Oftentimes we’ll take temporary photos until the professional photos are delivered.
